About Baryona Billington

Baryona Billington Baryona Billington is a native of Cleveland Heights, Ohio but as many of her friends and family know, her heart and spirit belong to California. She has been a long lover of the arts whether it is traditional art or performing art, as they all captivate her spirit. In her early years, she had a scholarship to attend a special camp for young artists at the Cleveland Museum of Art. The first recognition that she was a budding artist.

Her first professional and entrepreneurial involvement in the art world came after she graduated from Dartmouth College. She partnered with a close friend to set up and host gallery shows for young, talented artists in the Cleveland area. This gave her the opportunity to showcase her sales skills and art knowledge to sell art to an elite crowd of attendees. In addition to this experience, Baryona has lived in every region of the US and also spent a few years living abroad. She has a global outlook on how she views the world.

The recent pandemic prompted a new spark of interest in the arts for Baryona. It literally became therapeutic for her to capture joyful moments behind the lens of her digital camera or cellphone. She then found that she could take these photos to the next level by creating artistic portraits that further illuminated the glory of the moment - whether that be a moon glow on the ocean or reaching for hope as riots raged through cities across the country. Her intent and purpose in life is to use her art as a medium of bringing peace, understanding, and loving sentiments to all that view and appreciate her work.
