Life on the road whether for work or vacation has been a source of art inspiration for me. Recently, I took a bit of a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city to spend time in Long Branch Beach, NJ. Whether I was walking around or enjoying a long ride on a cruiser bike, I felt art moments striking me everywhere. The colorful umbrellas on the beach, wildflowers popping up through rocky mounds along the boardwalk, or even whiffs of sweet confections from a local bakery, all created sensory experiences that inspired mindful moments that led to new creations of art. One of my most recent releases, Always on My Mind, is an example of combining two of my loves - biking and the beach. This hazy, sunset painting was inspired by helping others to see the beauty of stopping a bike ride long enough to take in the golden glow of a sunset on a beach. My goal with this website is truly to share mindful moments with those who stop by and visit the website. This blog picture is of me wearing my recently purchased tank top with my company motto during this beach trip - "My Mind is On My Art and My Art is on My Mind." As a side note, the tank top material is soft and so comfortable to wear on a sunny day. On another note, I look forward to sharing more art ventures with you via new work and new blogs.
